This Privacy Policy explains how JBooking handles information used to operate the platform. Participating businesses may also maintain their own privacy policies for information they collect or use in connection with their services.
Information we collect
JBooking may process account and authentication information, business profile information, client profile information, appointment and service details, contact information, consent records, security and audit information, device and technical information, and information needed for support and platform administration.
Business uploads may include branding assets such as logos or other images that JBooking permits through the upload features available at the time.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate users, operate booking and kiosk workflows, maintain client profiles, provide notifications and verification, administer subscriptions and accounts, provide support, secure the service, prevent abuse, maintain audit records, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Participating businesses
Participating businesses decide much of the client, appointment, service, and policy information they enter into JBooking. Each business is responsible for its own notices, permissions, customer relationships, and legal obligations relating to the information it collects or uses through its business operations.
When a business provides its own Privacy Policy URL, JBooking may display that link during booking so customers can review the business's separate privacy practices.
Uploaded images and content
JBooking stores permitted uploads only as needed to provide the service. Uploads may be technically validated, transformed, resized, secured, reviewed, or otherwise processed to protect the platform and enforce applicable rules.
Businesses should not upload content they do not have the right to use. JBooking may reject or remove prohibited, unsafe, infringing, or unlawful content. Semantic image moderation for explicit or illegal content may be added or expanded as part of JBooking's security controls.
SMS and mobile information
Appointment text messages are sent only to clients who explicitly opt in to transactional appointment SMS notifications. Message frequency varies based on booking activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.
JBooking does not sell or share SMS opt-in data, mobile numbers, or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Service providers and storage
JBooking may use service providers for hosting, databases, authentication, email, SMS delivery, file storage, security, monitoring, and other infrastructure. Providers receive information only as needed to perform services for JBooking and are subject to applicable contractual and security controls.
Retention, deletion, and security
JBooking retains information as needed to provide the service, maintain security and audit records, support legitimate business operations, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods may vary by data type and operational need.
JBooking uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and contact
