Soft-launch service

JBooking is currently operating as an invitation-only soft launch for approved users in Puerto Rico. Trial access, features, availability, pricing, and commercial terms may change before the general commercial release.

JBooking and participating businesses

JBooking provides software for scheduling, client profiles, notifications, kiosk workflows, and related business operations. Participating businesses independently provide their services and are responsible for their prices, availability, staff, service descriptions, cancellations, refunds, deposits, fees, licenses, customer communications, and compliance obligations.

A business may provide separate Business Terms / Policies and a Business Privacy Policy. When those links are shown during booking, customers should review them because they apply to the relationship with that business in addition to JBooking's platform terms.

Business content and uploads

Businesses retain ownership of content they upload or provide, but grant JBooking the limited rights needed to host, store, process, resize, display, transmit, secure, and operate that content as part of the service.

The business represents that it owns the uploaded content or has all rights, permissions, releases, and lawful authority needed to use it. Businesses are responsible for the accuracy and legality of business information, service descriptions, prices, logos, images, links, policies, and other content they provide.

Prohibited content

Businesses may not upload or use JBooking to store or distribute unlawful content; child sexual abuse or exploitation material; pornographic or sexually explicit content; non-consensual intimate imagery; content that exploits or sexualizes minors; content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights; malware; fraudulent material; or content otherwise prohibited by applicable law.

JBooking may validate, screen, restrict, reject, disable access to, preserve when legally required, or remove content that appears to violate these Terms, applicable law, safety requirements, or platform security requirements. Accounts may be suspended or terminated for prohibited uploads or repeated violations.

Manual deposits and business fees

During the soft launch, JBooking does not process customer deposits or appointment payments. If a business requires a deposit or fee, payment occurs directly between the customer and that business outside JBooking. JBooking may record the business's manual confirmation that a deposit was received.

The participating business is responsible for explaining, collecting, refunding, and enforcing its own deposit, cancellation, no-show, and refund policies.

Appointment SMS program

Customers may opt in to receive transactional SMS messages from JBooking on behalf of a participating business. Messages may include booking-pending notices, confirmations, rescheduling notices, cancellations, deposit-received notices, reminders, and verification-related communications.

Message frequency varies according to appointment activity. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Acceptable use and account security

Users must provide accurate information, use JBooking only for lawful activities, protect account credentials and staff PINs, respect client privacy and consent, and avoid abuse, unauthorized access, spam, interference, scraping, malicious uploads, or attempts to bypass security controls.
